Four Polk County companies appear on Inc. 5000, a national list of fastest-growing firms

Four companies with offices in Polk County are included on the Inc. 5000 , a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

Ultra Cryo & Recovery, a family-owned and operated full-service cryotherapy wellness and recovery center with locations in Lakeland, Auburdnale and Davenport, ranked No. 279. The list indicated three-year growth of 1,517%.

Curious Jane , a national franchise marketing agency based in Lakeland, ranked No. 1,085 on the list, with reported three-year growth of 471%. It is the company’s first appearance in the rankings.

Iceberg Air Conditioning and Heating, which has offices in Lakeland and Winter Haven, ranked No. 1,142. Inc. reported the company’s three-year growth at 447%

AgAmerica, a financial services company based in Lakeland, ranked No. 2,750, with reported three-year growth of 184%.

Companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 through 2023. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020, according to the Inc. website.

Companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent, not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. The minimum revenue for 2020 was $100,000 and for 2023 was $2 million.
