A baby name has caused a rift between a couple . While one person thought their chosen baby name was amazing , the other was furious and felt their partner was not taking naming their child seriously. Over on Reddit, the situation was detailed for eager listeners. They wrote: “I have always loved two-word first names , such as Anna Grace, Sadie Mae, Susie Lee, etc.

“When my ex and I were trying for a kid, she got really upset with me because I suggested the name Ellis Dee. I wanted something original, but nice sounding. Something that rolled off the tongue.

“She got heated and wouldn't talk to me. Accused me of not taking the name suggestions seriously, and eventually that devolved into a fight and she chose to leave me then and there.

“She never explained why it made her mad, because she thought I was joking around when I said I didn't understand why she didn't like it.

“Took me about four months later to realize I wanted to name our potential daughter LSD.”

Reddit users commented on the situation.

One social media user said: “Lol this reminds me of when my ex and I (literal teenagers) were talking about baby names and she suggested Blossom and I said it sounded like a hippie name and she stopped talking to me and broke up with me the next day (this happened on Valentines Day).”

Another person added in: ”I could hear LSD right away. Well, seems like an overreaction for a theoretical baby but it all worked out in the end.”

Someone else joked: “Should've named her Hitof Molly.”

And another person chimed in: “Those names are terrible together even without the drug references.”
