The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have arrived in Bogota, Colombia for their biggest tour to date.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are visiting three cities in Colombia for a four-day trip. They're kicking off the trip in Bogota before they head to Cali and Cartagena. Meghan looked chic in navy blue tailoring.

The former Suits star showed off her toned arms in a peplum waistcoat that nipped her in at the middle to reveal her trim waist. The mom-of-two styled this up with fitted pants. She walked hand-in-hand with Prince Harry who cut a dapper figure in a navy suit - their matching outfits, clearly a nod at the moves they are making as a power couple unified on their trip.

At approximately 9am Bogotá time, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were warmly welcomed to Colombia by Vice President Francia Márquez and her partner, Rafael Yerney Pinillo. The two parties headed into the Vice President’s residence for coffee, tea, and traditional pan de bono (Colombian Cheese Bread) before exchanging welcome gifts.

Vice President Marquez said Princess Diana planned to make to Colombia shortly before she died in 1997. She said: “I think that Prince Harry being here today after that dream of his mum’s of visiting this country is an opportunity to show the best of our nation, to show who Colombians are.

The Duke and Duchess stayed at the residence for half an hour, where the Vice President expressed her gratitude for the couple’s official visit. The VP shared that she feels she and the Sussexes share the same ideals and goals when it comes to championing a better, safer digital future and mental health landscape for our children and the world.

The Sussexes have cultivated ties with Colombia, notably being the only Latin American country to participate in the Invictus Games, an event established by Harry. Their Colombian visit is a precursor to the first Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children scheduled for November in Colombia.

During their four-day trip, Harry and Meghan are to explore San Basilio de Palenque, Americas' first 'free town' for Africans. The Sussexes will also attend a Cali-based music festival named the Petronio Alvarez Festival.

City mayor Alejandro Eder shared insights into Harry and Meghan's itinerary at a tourism conference earlier this month and said: "They are going to come to Cali and spend a day in the city. They're going to visit the Petronio Alvarez Festival in the city and they're also going to visit other social initiatives."
