What's that? New Eugene restaurant moving into the former Pizza Hut on Willamette Street

Project: Renovations and updates to the former Pizza Hut on Willamette Street to make room for a new restaurant, Seoul K-Food.

Location: 2870 Willamette Street, Eugene.

Willamette Street has seen some noticeable changes to businesses available along the road in recent months, particularly between 25th Ave. and 30th Ave.

One of the most significant is an update to the former Pizza Hut Wing Street location. It used to occupy a terracotta-colored building next to the Oregon Community Credit Union at Willamette Street and W. 29th Ave. The building was last remodeled in 2008 to complete needed updates for the then-Pizza Hut.

Now, the building’s façade has changed to a light blue color with green trim. Preparations are being made for a new business to move in — Seoul K-Food.

Seoul K-Food is planned to join multiple new businesses in the Woodfield Station, including a Chipotle still under construction and a Coldstone Creamery that is open for business. A few blocks away, more eateries have recently opened such as Sprout Kitchen and Wing Stop.

Seoul K-Food registered as an active business through the Oregon.gov Open Data Portal on April 4, 2024. The business is represented by P & C Korea, LLC., according to registration documents.

As businesses continue to move in along and near Willamette Street, food offerings in the area keep expanding, serving up dishes like Thai food from Tasty Thai Kitchen, Mexican meals from Chapala Mexican Restaurant, New York-style deli delights from Barry’s Espresso Bakery and Deli and even more options from breweries, restaurants and food pods nearby.
