Mrs. Tittle’s and Mrs. Catie’s preschool classrooms at Mount Carmel Elementary usually look like every other preschool classroom, filled blocks, toy kitchens, dolls, dress up clothes, and even a miniature library.

Currently they look a little bit different.

For the next couple of weeks preschools in Hawkins County are learning about museums. Mrs. Tittle and Mrs. Catie transformed their classrooms into dinosaur museums to help immerse their students into learning.

Their classrooms include dino dig site, dino caves, a museum gift shop, and even prehistoric decorations. Students are loving all the dinosaur themed decorations and activities. After all what 4-year-old doesn’t like dinosaurs.

By turning their classrooms into museums, Mrs. Tittle and Mrs. Catie hope to bring museums to students of Hawkins County that may never have the opportunity to visit a museum.

They are truly bringing the world to their students. All photos courtesy of Kim McCann.
