Vanderbilt women's basketball announces 2024-25 non-conference schedule, games vs. Arizona and Miami

Vanderbilt women's basketball's non-conference schedule has been set.

On Thursday, the Commodores announced on X (formerly Twitter) their slate of non-conference games for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Year 4 of the Shea Ralph Era in Nashville will start with a two-game home stand beginning on Nov. 4 against the ASUN conference's Lipscomb. The Commodores will then host Austin Peay on Nov. 8 before traveling to South Florida on Nov. 14 for its first road game of the season.

Highlighting the Commodores 2024-25 non-conference schedule is a nine-day stretch where Vanderbilt will play against three Power 5 conference opponents in late November/early December. Vanderbilt will first play Arizona on Nov. 26 in its first game at the Acrisure Classic in Palm Springs, California and then either California or Michigan State in its second game of the multi-team event on Nov. 27.

The Commodores will round out that stretch with a trip to Florida to take on the Cavinder sisters and the Miami Hurricanes on Dec. 4 in the SEC/ACC Challenge at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida. Following a trip to Dayton on Dec. 19, Vanderbilt will round out its non-conference schedule at home against West Georgia on Dec. 21 and Alabama A&M on Dec. 29.

Vanderbilt is coming off a 23-10 overall season last season, which ended in the program's first berth to the NCAA Tournament since 2014. Per Vanderbilt's press release, tip-off times and TV information will be released at a later date.
