Serena Williams was inspiration for Drake hit song, Canadian rapper reveals in never-before-seen clip with mom

CANADIAN rapper Drake has appeared to confirm fan theories about one of his biggest hits.
The five-time Grammy winner revealed he wrote a song in 2016 about tennis icon Serena Williams .

Drake and Williams were linked romantically during the early 2010s.
They were spotted “locking lips” in August 2015 before Serena moved on to dating future husband Alexis Ohanian, per Page Six .
Drake opened up on the inspiration for the hit song Too Good during a newly released behind-the-scenes video with his mother, Sandi Graham.
The pair discussed Too Good’s origins, with the rapper revealing Serena was on his mind.
“This is more about me and Serena,” Drake said of the track, via TMZ .
“I gathered that!’ Sandi replied.
“It’s funny because when I make songs about women, I also make songs for them,” Drake continued.
“So, I know what kind of song to make.
“If I’m gonna talk about them, I’ll at least do them the justice of making them a song that they like.
“So, I know Serena very well and I know that she’ll hear it loud and clear, but she’ll also not hate me for it because it’s lighthearted.”
Too Good featured pop icon Rihanna and was released as a single from the album.
The track reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 2016.
Williams, 42, and Drake, 37, never went public with their rumored romance.
The music star was spotted watching the 23-time Grand Slam star numerous times, including at Wimbledon alongside Serena’s sister Venus in 2015.
