The tragic incident happened at a road junction in Grand Prairie, Texas , around 15 miles west of Dallas on Saturday night.

Parents Jessie and Lorena Rosales, their 13-year-old daughter, Stephanie, and their 6-year-old son, Angel, all died at the scene of the crash.

Their 16-year-old son Anthony was taken to the hospital and survived the incident.

He had been thrown from the car during the collision.

The two other siblings, Jessie and Natalie, were not with their family on that tragic day.

They shared their heartbreak in an emotional video with CBS affiliate KTVT .

“There’s nothing that you can do to bring them back you know and it’s a pain we’re always going to live with,” Jessie said.

Police arrested two drivers they believed were racing each other before the crash.

The family’s Chevy Traverse was reportedly struck by a speeding red Dodge Charger.

Jaime Mesa, 20, believed to be the driver of the red Dodge, was charged with several counts of racing on a highway causing death, manslaughter, racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Anthony Morales, 22, the alleged driver of the second vehicle, was arrested on Sunday night.

He was charged with four counts of racing on a highway causing death and one count of racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury.

Anthony shared a message from the hospital where he is still receiving treatment for his injuries.

“I thought I was going to die. When I woke up, I learned that I lost my dad, my mom, my sister, and my little brother,” he told KTVT.

There’s nothing that you can do to bring them back you know and it’s a pain we’re always going to live with.

    Jessie Rosales

“I am thankful for everything. I have a new view on life now.”

The siblings revealed that this had not been the first time the Rosales had an encounter with street racers.

Natalie and Jessie said their family were victims of a similar incident near Grand Prairie several years ago.

The siblings also thanked their local community for the support shown in the past few days.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support the siblings and help with Anthony’s medical bills.

The fundraizer has amassed over $76,000 of its $100,000 target.

“This sweet sibling group has a long hard road ahead of them physically, emotionally, and financially,” the page said.
