Moment tourist furious over missing flight bangs on plane doors & windows demanding to be let in after ‘attacking staff’

A TOURIST has kicked a plane and allegedly assaulted a worker after throwing a tantrum when he arrived late for his flight.

The American tourist reportedly showed up to his flight gate at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, Colombia after it had closed and kicked the door in a hysterical rage.

When staff refused him entry, he reportedly breached security and tried to board the plane.

After finding the passenger entry door closed, he began kicking it repeatedly in his open-toed sandals.

An airport employee was seen passing behind him on the phone at the start of the video.

His outburst was filmed by a passenger in a window seat on Friday morning, according to NeedToKnow.

The young man, who wore glasses, dark clothing, and a backpack, could be seen banging on the window.

At one point he even directed his anger to the wall of the passenger boarding bridge which he also kicked.

When he walked back to the plane , he dropped to his knees in front of a window and yelled, “Let me in! Let me in, please!”

One hand was hitting the window while the other clutched his boarding pass and passport.

Once he got up from the ground, he fiddled with a joystick on the boarding bridge before he kicked the door again and continued to yell through the window.

He was supposed to board LATAM flight 4090 from Bogotá, Colombia to Cartagena, Colombia.

THE AFTERMATH

After the crazed incident, police and security took him to the airport migration office.

While at the office, he allegedly assaulted an official.

He was deported from Colombia within hours.

“This disruptive passenger initially assaulted ground staff after being informed that the flight had already closed and he had arrived late,” said Daniel Gallo, president of the Colombian Air Workers Association, per Daily Mail .

This man had an aggressive demeanor that put both the staff and other travelers at risk.

“He forcibly attempted to enter the boarding bridge and, failing to do so, punched the main door and windows of the aircraft.”

The passenger’s name has not been released.

Gallo added, “This man had an aggressive demeanor that put both the staff and other travelers at risk, and he also did not comply with travel regulations.”

He also asked the Colombian government to place stricter laws on disruptive passengers.

“We continue to call on the National Government and Congress to take urgent and severe measures against these passengers, who are becoming more frequent every day,” he said.
