AMERICAN Pickers’ Mike Wolfe has shared an update on his home renovations after receiving backlash for revamping a Tennessee town.

On Sunday, the History Channel star posted a snapshot of himself enjoying the fruits of his labor on his Instagram Stories.

The photo showed Mike , 60, relaxing on the partially remodeled front porch of the home.

In true American Pickers fashion, the reality TV star sat on an antique rocking chair in a gray t-shirt, green chinos, and well-worn work boots.

The chair was positioned, somewhat precariously, on large plywood slats, laid atop the partially exposed framework of the house.

Mike rested his head against the home’s bare sheathing plywood walls as he enjoyed the shade provided by its unfinished roof.

He captioned the post, “Done enough to feel the vibes.”

The TV personality has been in the remodeling mood as he recently extended the entrance of his historic, Columbia, Tennessee home.

Mike purchased the 3,166-square-foot house for $700,000 on May 20, 2022.

The brick home features three bathrooms, a basement, a wooden deck, a detached carport, a cabana, a utility building, and several more desirable amenities.

Earlier this month, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that after two years of owning the property, Mike has begun restoring it.

Exclusive photos obtained by The U.S. Sun revealed that Mike extended the home’s entrance into a turret.

A turret is a small tower typically seen in castles.

The turret window has yet to be installed – a piece of wood is in its place.

The roof of the tower is also still under construction.

Mike also appears to have added an awning to the front porch area to provide shade.

    THE RIGHT PICK?

Mike’s home isn’t the only thing he’s been restoring, recently the American Pickers star faced backlash over his aggressive revamping of a quiet Tennessee town.

The residents of Columbia, Tennessee, have been divided over all the changes and business growth Mike has brought to the “mule capital of the world.”

Mike has expanded his real estate portfolio , purchasing numerous properties – including his Two Lanes vacation rental and bike shop Columbia Motor Alley – in the small Nashville exburb.

In June, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the Antique Archaeology owner added to his real estate empire when he purchased another commercial property for $400,000 in December 2023.

The building is 1,240 square feet and was built in 1920.

“It’s kind of interesting because a lot of people don’t want change and some people do, so we’re in that flux,” a town source exclusively told the U.S. Sun on Mike bringing new businesses to Columbia.

They continued, referencing the construction on the property adjacent to Columbia Motor Alley , “They are building a six-story condo with a restaurant. Next to that is going to be a car place.

    “The town is changing rapidly.”

An insider told The U.S. Sun, “The project is costing $93million” and while some citizens seem reluctant to change others are all for the sudden economic boost.

“The town is happy Mike is taking this on to help bring new life to Columbia,” the insider continued.

    ON THE HORIZON

Last week, Mike’s brother and American Pickers co-star Robbie Wolfe revealed the Season 26 premiere date .

Fans have demanded new episodes of the History Channel show despite the series ratings slumped last season.

On Thursday, Robbie , 57, posted a photo of himself and the show’s film screw sitting on the porch of a rustic cabin on Instagram.

He captioned the post, “Filming another new season of American Pickers.

The Pickers star revealed the “October 15” premiere date of the upcoming season before adding, “See you soon.”

In the post’s comment thread, an excited fan wrote, “Can’t wait.”

    “Woo hoo!!” commented another.

Robbie’s reveal comes just days after his co-star, Jersey Jon, told fans that the Pickers cast and crew were “in the awesome Midwest filming all new episodes.”

Jersey Jon, whose real name is Jon Szalay, made the announcement with an Instagram post.

It was accompanied by a looping video of a motorcycle engine, with the caption, “Get your motor runnin’!”
