North Bend High Symphonic Band wins Championship

The North Bend High School Symphonic Band won the 2024 State 4A Championship at the LaSalle performing arts center on the Oregon State University campus, Thursday evening, May 9th.

The 51-member band is conducted by Amber Yester. They scored 312 points to earn first place for the second consecutive year, and their sixth state championship since 2014.

The band performed AYO by Katana Copley, Tha MI Sgith by Brian Beck, Song for Lindsay by Andrew Boysen Jr., and Havana Nights by Randall Standridge.

Gladstone High School took second place and Scappoose High School finished in third place.
