GoFundMe set to help Coquille Chess Club go to Nationals

The Coquille Chess Club started a GoFundMe asking the community to help them cover expenses for their top three players who have earned spots at Nationals.

The team includes kids and teens from Coquille, Bandon, Myrtle Point, Port Orford, Coos Bay, and North Bend. The team is a registered non-profit. They hope to raise $5,000 to pay for the cost of travel and lodging to Las Vegas for Nationals, as well as other tournaments throughout the year.
