CHAMPAIGN, IL (Chambana Today) – Champaign Police Lieutenant Andre Davis retired Friday, July 12, 2024, following 20 years of service to the City of Champaign. “I am proud of the twenty years I have spent in service to my hometown and thankful to have shared that time with the committed team at the Champaign Police Department,” said Davis, a Champaign Native and 1991 graduate of Centennial High School. “I am thankful for the officers that trained me up, my incredible family that supported me through long shifts and tough cases, and for the community that has given me the opportunity to serve.”
