    Thunderstorms Possible This Afternoon and Evening

    The National Weather Service (NWS) in Gaylord has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Eastern Upper Michigan and Northern Lower Michigan, including areas such as Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Grand Traverse, and Mackinac Island. Scattered thunderstorms are forecast to develop late this afternoon and continue into the evening. While these storms are not expected to be severe, they could bring brief periods of heavy rain, lightning, and gusty winds.

    Calm Conditions Expected for the Weekend
