ST. PETERSBURG — A second man has been arrested in connection with alleged vandalism of a Pride street mural at Central Avenue and 25th Street. St. Petersburg Police said Antonio Silvestri, 30, was captured on video at 10:40 a.m. May 17 performing a “burnout style maneuver” to leave tire marks across the rainbow crosswalk and causing significant damage.

The unknown man was transported to Bayfront Medical Center where he was diagnosed with head trauma. Two months later, he was transferred to Gulfport Convalescent Center Nursing Home, where he later died on October 9, 1992. He became known as Pinellas County John Doe.
