Iconic World War 2 Red Phone Booth from England Now On Display At Currahee Military Museum
One week ago, on August 20, a new piece of history arrived at the Currahee Military Museum, courtesy of Michael French, who delivered an iconic red World-War-2 era phone booth from England. With assistance from 10 volunteers from the Toccoa Fire Department, the donated phone booth, which weighs in at more than 2,500 pounds, is now on display at the front entrance of the Currahee Military Museum.
