It's been a gloomy day with clouds, drizzle, and a few scattered showers. Any showers should dissipate this evening then fog may develop again overnight. Low temperatures fall to around 60 degrees. Thursday should be a nicer day with a mix of clouds and sunshine and highs near 80 degrees. A stronger frontal system brings numerous showers and storms on Friday. A widespread half inch of rain is expected with locally higher amounts possible. A few showers may linger into High School Football action Friday evening, but most of the rain will be over with.

The upcoming Labor Day weekend is looking fantastic. Saturday will be the prime day to be on the water with sunshine and highs in the lower 80s. It gets a little cooler Sunday and into Monday, but still very nice.
