Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has raised $7.1 million since he was processed in an Atlanta jail in the Georgia election subversion case.

A Trump campaign spokesman revealed that the former president has raised close to $20 million over the past three weeks following his arrest and arraignment in connection with the federal January 6 case in Washington, D.C.

According to the source, Trump earned $4.18 million on the day after his arrest in Georgia, making it the biggest fundraising day of the whole campaign.

Trump's campaign also started selling products using the former president's mugshot. The source claims that the sales have contributed to the significant fundraising totals.

Trump's legal issues have gotten worse recently as prosecutors have brought two indictments in connection with his attempts to invalidate the results of the 2020 election.

Special counsel Jack Smith filed four federal accusations against the former president earlier this month.

The accusation claims that Trump "was determined to remain in power" and, together with his associates, hatched a conspiracy to rig the election before the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Trump entered a not guilty plea to the allegations against him, including conspiracy to defraud the United States and to obstruct justice.

Trump made a prime-time appearance at the Fulton County prison to be booked and freed on bond even though he has not yet been charged in the Georgia case.

Trump's advisors expressed their satisfaction with the media coverage, and the former president started raising money as soon as his detention made headlines.

Trump also made a comeback to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a fundraising note.

“I walked into the lion’s den with one simple message on behalf of our entire movement: I WILL NEVER SURRENDER OUR MISSION TO SAVE AMERICA,” Trump said.
