Maple Leafs’ $5.5 Million Forward ‘Priced’ Himself Out Of Toronto: Report
Tyler Bertuzzi will not be returning to the Toronto Maple Leafs after playing one season with the team, according to NHL insider Darren Dreger. Bertuzzi signed a one-year deal worth $5.5 million deal with the Maple Leafs on July 2, 2023. At the end of the season, there was mutual interest in an extension, but Dreger says Bertuzzi won’t be back as he priced himself out of Toronto.
Kelly Linger of East Liverpool appointed as judge to Columbiana County Municipal Court
Kelly Linger was recently appointed as a judge to Columbiana County Municipal Court by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine. Linger, of East Liverpool, will assume office on July 23, 2024, and will be taking the seat formerly held by Judge Katelyn Dickey, who resigned upon being appointed to the Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals. She will serve the remainder of the unfinished term and will need to run for election in November 2025 to retain the seat.
