WWE Does Not Have the Next Brock Lesnar, It Has Multiple

Brock Lesnar has not been seen in the WWE since SummerSlam 2023, and considering the allegations that were put against him in January 2024, he likely won’t be back wrestling for the company any time soon. He is still currently under contract and on the internal roster, although Triple H has commented previously about being unsure as to when or even if he will continue wrestling.

With that being said, The Beast Incarnate is one of the most dominant and powerful wrestlers the WWE has ever seen, so they are losing a big asset to their product in losing a guy like Brock. However, it seems as if they don’t have to worry much longer about that, as they have not just found a new Brock Lesnar, but they have seen multiple.

Bron Breakker Was Made to be the Next Brock Lesnar

It seems that the 6 feet tall 230-pound Bron Breakker was created to follow in the footsteps of The Beast Brock Lesnar. The powerhouse has destroyed everyone in his path in the WWE and will continue to do so now as Intercontinental Champion. He made his debut in NXT in 2021 after a short stint as a professional football player and recently made his way up to the main roster where he’s continued to dominate.

He comes from a pro wrestling family, as he is the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner, two absolute behemoths when they were in the business. They were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022, by none other than Bron Breakker. The young wrestler has followed in his family’s footsteps massively, and it looks as if he is poised to make the Hall of Fame as well.

Breakker was a two-time NXT champion and NXT tag team champion after being on the brand for just three years. He was officially called up to Monday Night Raw in the 2024 WWE Draft, and instantly created a path of destruction, by putting people on the sidelines to take them out of the company. At SummerSlam 2024, Breakker defeated Sami Zayn to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion after just three months of being on the main roster.

Who is NXT’s Oba Femi?

Although fans have become extremely familiar with Bron Breakker and believe that he will be the next Brock Lesnar, there’s another wrestler on the roster who fits that mold perfectly. Oba Femi was a member of the first-ever WWE Next in Line class, and people could tell just from his look that he was set to become a monster in the company. At 6’6 and 310 pounds, Femi took up track and field at the University of Alabama where he won multiple shot put championships.

Two years after signing his WWE NIL deal, Oba Femi became a permanent member of the NXT roster as he competed in the 2023 NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament, which he won in January 2024. He then went on to cash in his tournament contract against NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee just the week after, a match which he won in just over a minute. He is still the North American Champion and has destroyed everyone that has come his way in NXT.

He is poised to be one of the biggest threats in the WWE, as he has the look of a monster and has been booked like one too. He will likely be called up to the main roster soon, where he will continue to showcase his domination and prove to the world that he has all the capabilities to be the next Brock Lesnar.

With both Bron Breakker and Oba Femi on the roster, it’s clear that the WWE has found their next beasts of the future. Both of these young talents have shown massive potential to be even bigger threats than Brock Lesnar was, and that may very well be the case.
