North Carolina’s Most Re-Watched TV Show? The Office Takes the Crown!

Everyone has that one TV show they turn to time and time again for comfort. For years, my go-to was Full House, but after countless replays, I needed a change. Now, Friends has become my new cozy retreat. But what about the rest of North Carolina? According to a new study, the state's most re-watched TV show is one I haven't even seen yet!

The Study:

• Conducted by Casino.ca, the study surveyed 3,000 Americans to find the most re-watched TV shows across the country and state by state.

The Results:

• North Carolina's Favorite: The Office takes the top spot as the most re-watched show in the state.
• National Popularity: The Office also leads nationally, being the most re-watched in 14 states.
• Other Popular Shows:
• • Breaking Bad came in second.
  • Friends secured third place, and is the favorite in South Carolina.
  • Fourth place was a tie between Law & Order SVU and Seinfeld.

Other shows that made the list include Schitt’s Creek, Parks and Recreation, Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother, and Gilmore Girls.

Why Do We Re-Watch?

There's something inherently comforting about revisiting familiar shows. They offer a stress-free escape, providing the same comfort as an old friend. Personally, I find myself sticking with what I know, rather than diving into something new—perhaps not the best habit, but it works for me!
