Where you live, work, and spend your time greatly impacts your happiness. According to a new study by SmartAsset, Raleigh, North Carolina, ranks 7th among the happiest cities in the U.S.

The study evaluated 90 of the largest cities in the nation, considering factors like income, marriage rates, health, and life expectancy.

Raleigh stood out for its low average of 3.9 "mentally unhealthy" days per month, a high percentage (38%) of households earning $100,000 or more, and an impressive life expectancy of 81.6 years.

Additionally, Raleigh boasts a 90% health insurance coverage rate and an 11% poverty rate.

These factors make Raleigh a top city for happiness, but personal experiences also play a significant role. For some, the city brings back fond memories, while others might have different perspectives.
