A popular chicken chain from Los Angeles, California, is bringing its flavor-packed menu to North Carolina.

The Red Chickz, known for its crunchy and flavorful Nashville hot chicken, is expanding into the Tar Heel State with plans to open 10 restaurants.

The Red Chickz is a fast-casual restaurant that promises to deliver a unique chicken experience. Four locations are planned for Charlotte, four for Raleigh, and two for Greensboro.

According to developer Kamran Awan, the North Carolina market is "very hot" for this concept, and he believes there won’t be much competition in the area.

Awan aims to open the first Charlotte location by 2025, needing around 1,800 to 2,000 square feet for each restaurant. He emphasized the importance of making sure each location is profitable, customers are happy, and reviews are positive before further expansion.

The Red Chickz prides itself on serving all-natural, 100% hormone- and antibiotic-free chicken, hand-breaded for that perfect crunch. They also offer breaded cauliflower and jumbo shrimp for those looking for something different.
