A significant development has been reached in the construction of the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing on U.S. 101 in Agoura Hills. The first 120+ ton girder has been successfully installed overnight. As construction progresses, motorists traveling through the area can expect to see the crossing taking shape overhead with additional girders to be added. To facilitate safe installation work, southbound lanes of U.S. 101 will be closed nightly from 11 pm to 4 am, extending for the next 3 to 4 weeks. The affected stretch runs from Chesebro Road to Liberty Canyon. Drivers should plan their travel accordingly and may want to consider alternative routes or adjust travel times to avoid delays during these hours.
