🚧 Update on Bridge Construction and Traffic Impact West of La Junta

Attention La Junta residents and travelers: Please be advised of an upcoming bridge construction event scheduled to take place between D Avenue and CO 71, approximately 15 to 16 miles west of La Junta. The construction will affect the area from Mile Point 56 to Mile Point 57. Starting tomorrow at 7:00 AM MDT, there will be alternating traffic patterns in effect until approximately 5:00 PM MDT the same day. The transportation department has organized a full schedule for this event, which will only be on May 13th, stating that operations will commence at 7:00 AM and are expected to conclude by 5:00 PM. Please plan your travel accordingly to avoid delays and ensure safety through the construction zone. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated as we work to improve local infrastructure.
