The Most Bizarre Farm in New Jersey has been here since the 1960s

New Jerseyans certainly know how to embrace the weird and the following is definitely proof.

Located along Route 33 somewhere between Neptune and Freehold is one of the most bizarre roadside attractions in the state.

Known as the Hubcap Farm, this patchy plot of land is not in fact a farm at all.

Instead, it's a fascinating collection of hubcaps from decades past.

Frank's Hubcap Farm was catapulted into infamy thanks to NJ legend Bruce Springsteen. He gave the farm a shoutout in his song "The Angel" and has supposedly used the farm as a backdrop for photos in the 1970s.

Today, the farm is frequented by visitors from far and wide looking to take in a little slice of Americana.

The farm got its start in the 1960s as Frank's father was a produce seller. The hubcap collection began to grow in 1965 and today it is a sprawling collection that will take you back in time.

The hubcaps are collected from all over including junkyards, swap meets, and flea markets.

Another fascinating point of interest is Frank's vintage Volkswagon that he drove up to Woodstock and still uses to this day. It's decked out in Grateful Dead bumper stickers and looks like a time capsule of the late 1960s. It's still got its original hubcaps too.
