Pickett's Mill: The Battle That Gave Sherman Pause • Pop's Dawg House
In this episode, Tommy and I travel to New Hope, Georgia where we walk 200 year old roads, following the footsteps of General Sherman and his Confederate nemesis, General Johnston as the two armies collide in what was one of the bloodiest battles of the American Civil War. Known as one of the only pristinely preserved battlefields in the country, this historic site offers much in the way of hiking trails, historic ruins, and even an 1850's authentic cabin. Afterwards, we visited Pop's Dawg House in Dallas, Georgia to have some really good and affordable classic American food.
