A few Vidalia onions left for sale

The Troy Exchange Club’s 2024 Vidalia Onion Fundraiser was, once again, a great success. Donna McLaney Jones expressed thanks to the club’s members who are all great Vidalia onion salespersons.

“And, thanks to everyone who made our Vidalia Onion Fundraiser a success,” Jones said. “We do have a few onions left. Eight or nine 10-pound bags at $15 and five 25-pound bags at $30. Those are great deals on the best and sweetest onions around.”

With Memorial Day coming up, grills are ready to fire and Vidalia onions make any cookout a whole lot better, Jones said.

And there are great recipes that include Vidalia onions that make a summertime holiday gathering a whole lot “sweeter.”
