What about Arizona did you love the most?

The University of Arizona has a long history of success in college softball on top of an elite coaching staff that I know will bring out the best in me every day, holding me to a standard that will help me reach all of my goals. The environment provided at Arizona is like none other as well, and reflects exactly who I am as a person.

What is your favorite travel ball memory?

One of my favorite memories was last Summer when I was playing with Impact Gold Jazz 16u. We were playing at the Alliance Championship in California, and ended up making it to the championship after fighting through many extra inning games and extreme heat. It was some of the most fun softball I’ve ever played, and I’ll never forget all of us yelling “I love softball!!” after every inning.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned from a coach?

Be where your feet are. There’s no point in dwelling on the past, all you can do is focus on the present to create the outcomes you desire.

How do you get interested in softball?

I loved watching baseball with my dad, so he signed me up to play baseball when I was 3. I fell in love with it and eventually switched to playing softball.

What are your strengths as a player? What are you trying to improve on the most?

My energy and ability to lead has always been something I’m proud of. I want to bring out the best in everyone around me to create an environment of support and success. My biggest focus is taking every opportunity over the rest of my travel ball career to prepare for the challenges I may face in college. Learning to understand my mind and my body is going to be important for my future as a collegiate softball player.

What player(s) do you look up to the most?

Mookie Betts because his ability to play anywhere on the field at a high level as well as perform at the plate is something I want to replicate.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of softball?

    Reading and playing Fortnite.

What are you most excites you the most about playing college softball?

How competitive it will be every day. I’m excited to create bonds with the elite level athletes around me as well. Playing college softball has been a dream since I was little, and I can’t wait to see how my experiences will help me grow as an athlete and a person.
