    WTVA's chief videographer has covered Northeast Mississippi for more than two decades

    TUPELO • Alvin Ivy, WTVA’s chief videographer, has spent more than two decades behind the camera sharing the news and stories of Northeast Mississippians.

    Ivy, 52, graduated from Houston High School in 1991. After trying out a couple of colleges, the Trebloc native ended up at Mississippi State University in 1995, where he enrolled in “Introduction to Broadcast.” Instructor Curtis Martin sent students out with instructions to shoot video of what they saw for critique inside the classroom.
