Four-star linebacker Abduall Sanders announced his commitment to Alabama on Thursday. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker from Mater Dei High School committed to the Crimson Tide over Ohio State and Tennessee.

Sanders is the No. 350 overall prospect and No. 40 linebacker in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 5 linebacker and No. 31 player in California, according to the On3 industry rankings .

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer faced skepticism about his ability to recruit in the SEC this offseason. DeBoer and his staff have now landed five four-star commitments in March, including flipping four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman from in-state rival Auburn.

The Crimson Tide's 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 5 nationally and No. 3 in the SEC. Alabama has landed commitments from four-star athlete Darrell Johnson , four-star athlete Derick Smith , four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman, four-star athlete Zymear Smith , and Sanders.

Alabama is one of the hottest teams on the recruiting trail and is scheduled to host multiple elite 2025 prospects this weekend. Five-star offensive tackle David Sanders and four-star cornerback Dijon Lee headline a loaded recruiting weekend for the Crimson Tide.

It is safe to say DeBoer and his staff at Alabama have silenced the doubters about their ability to recruit at the highest level in Tuscaloosa.
