Alabama Football Adds Game Changing Five-Star Player in 2025 Recruiting Class

The Alabama recruiting class is heating up for the 2025 cycle. New head coach Kalen DeBoer 's recruiting start is going far better than many expected.

DeBoer and company earned a commitment from five-star cornerback Dijon Lee Jr . He adds to Alabama's No. 2 ranked recruiting class in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.

247Sports' composite ranking has Lee as the No. 22 player in the country and the No. 4 cornerback recruit in high school football. The Mission Viejo (CA) player is already the sixth Top 100 commitment for Alabama in the cycle.

Few if any anticipated the Tide's fast start, but it's certainly turning heads. The fun might not be over.

There's still plenty of time before players sign with programs, but early returns for Alabama are better than many could have expected. The program is building what could be a complete recruiting class led by elite Duncanville (TX) quarterback Keelon Russell.

Alabama will look to continue its summer momentum as it pushes for a No. 1 recruiting class in Kalen DeBoer's first year in Tuscaloosa.
