Legendary college football coach Nick Saban has officially retired after a Hall of Fame career. Now, he begins a new chapter as an analyst for ESPN. However, Saban is also working in an advisory role with Alabama and is set for a decent payday , per a report from Nick Kelly of The Tuscaloosa News.

"The retired Alabama football coach will now make $500,000.04 for his annual salary at a monthly rate of $41,666.67, according to payroll documents The Tuscaloosa News obtained through an open records request. According to the form, in his position, this salary is part of a 40-hour work week. Of course, that is nothing compared to the amount Saban made this past season as the Crimson Tide head coach. Then again, he is just working as an advisor and is set to earn half a million annually in this role. As part of the role at Alabama, Kelly mentions that Saban will have his own office at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

On top of that, he has a role with ESPN on College GameDay and should be a joy to watch.

It seems that retirement is going pretty well for Nick Saban thus far.
