Following Edwards' commitment, Alabama's 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC. Edwards is the sixth prospect from California to commit to the Crimson Tide.

The Crimson Tide have 22 commitments in the 2025 recruiting class, headlined by five-star cornerback Dijon Lee and four-star ATH Darrell Johnson.

The commitment from Edwards gives new Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer more offensive firepower as he takes over in Tuscaloosa following Nick Saban's retirement.
