    Tuscaloosa marching bands tune up for high school football season

    The high school football season is right around the corner in Tuscaloosa, which means marching band members, cheerleading squads and players are hard at work in preparation for when the games begin.

    At Northridge High School, first-year band director Rick Ardovino held a camp from July 15-26, where students learned songs for their halftime show and sharpened their marching skills.

    Northridge High Jaguars football team will start the season on the road Aug. 23 against Calera.
