With almost two decades since Bruce Feldman's freak list began, there's clear anticipation across the college football world for when it drops every August. The Alabama Crimson Tide has been well-represented in the top 50 national athletes, landing two players in the top 14.

We'll look at Kendrick Law's and Jaeden Roberts' inclusion. Let's dive further into Feldman's freak's list .

At 6-5 and weighing 322 pounds, Roberts ranks fourth on Feldman's list.

The junior stands out as one of football's most formidable linemen. With a body composition of 18 percent fat and 272 pounds of pure muscle, his physical prowess is the stuff of legends. Stories of his remarkable strength feats from his younger days abound.

Since joining the team in Tuscaloosa, Roberts has held his position as the starting right guard for the Tide, showcasing his strength by squatting 825 pounds, bench pressing 525, and completing a 405-pound power clean over the summer.

Roberts truly capitalized on his debut season as a starting player, achieving a rating of 78.3, which positioned him fourth among guards from Power Five conferences. As a redshirt sophomore, he excelled in the run game, leading all Power Five guards in 2023 with a run-blocking score of 78.9 on gap runs.

He also performed well in PFF's Game Athleticism Score, showcasing a robust capability in pass protection with a 76.8 grade. In the College Football Playoff semifinal against Michigan, Roberts impressively didn't succumb to a single pressure in 35 attempts at pass-blocking.

This feat is remarkable, especially given Michigan's defense included a defensive tackle, Kris Jenkins Jr., who was a top-50 draft pick in 2024 and is expected to have two more, Mason Graham and Kenneth Grant, reach that level in 2025.

In terms of sheer strength, Law stands out as one of the most powerful athletes in college football. The junior, who stands at 5-11 and weighs 202 pounds, bench-pressed 465 pounds this offseason.

Additionally, he achieved a squat of 655 pounds and a clean of 335 pounds. His speed is also impressive, reaching 23.2 mph with an acceleration of 6.1 m/s^2. Last season, Law made a name for himself on special teams and contributed on offense with 15 receptions for 135 yards receptions.

He's in line to push for a starting job this fall alongside Kobe Prentice and Germine Bernard. Of course, with a new coaching staff and several notable freshmen on campus, new head coach Kalen DeBoer could surprise everyone with his receiving rotation.

However, given the importance of athleticism and the youth along the unit for Alabama, the junior Law should see the field and be featured until further notice. We certainly like his outlook and being such a physical freak never hurts someone's case for more playing time.
