BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. ( WETM ) — Bradford County residents can expect more overnight roadwork this week.

According to PennDOT, crews are going to apply a microsurfacing treatment to Route 6 between Main Street (Route 2027) in Towanda Borough and Laning Creek Road (Route 1033) in Wysox Township on Wednesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 25. Crews will be working between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night.

The road will be reduced to one lane while roadwork is being performed. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic during the lane closures.

The work on Route 6 is part of a countywide microsurfacing project. Crews will be treating more of Route 6 and other roadways in Wyalusing, Tuscarora, Wysox, and Canton at later dates.
