AUSTIN, Texas - The month of June is wrapping up, which means it's officially summer season here in central Texas. Austin is forecast to see temperatures hit triple digits on the Fourth of July and a good chunk of Central Texas is under a heat advisory until 7 p.m. tonight (June 29).

In Miami, the temperature reached the low 90s Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius) before noon Saturday. That is largely because of the lack of clouds and rain, said Sammy Hadi, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Miami. He said it is not unusual to have a heat advisory this time of year in South Florida.

Search for Texas couple has turned into a ‘recovery effort,’ sheriff office says
MOAB — The search for a married Texas couple who went missing east of Moab has turned into a recovery operation, according to the Grand County Sheriff’s Office. On Friday evening, the office said though search and rescue crews have not found the bodies of Ray and Maranda Ankofski, they are making the transition from search and rescue to body recovery.
