New “Sunsets” Rising in the Village
An old, closed-down restaurant space in the Lake Arrowhead Village has gotten a remodel and makeover, and is now quickly rising to become a top destination: Sunsets Island Bar & Grill and Tiki Republik. These two new restaurant concepts recently opened in June, with their official ribbon cutting just last week. While each establishment has separate entrances, they are one shared space connected by a jungle hallway and patio overlooking the lake. Owned and operated by Lake Arrowhead locals, Rich & Marina Goodwin, this husband-wife team has finally realized a long-time dream of opening a business in the Lake Arrowhead Village.

“Our Town” is the theme for this year’s Mountain Top Days parade for 2024. Organized by the Running Springs Chamber of Commerce made up of dedicated and committed volunteers, team and staff members. Entertainment participants will be Scott Richardson, our traditional high wheeler, dressed up as Uncle Sam, the Blues Star Moms, an organization entailing the sons and daughters that currently or previously served in the military, the Golden Oaks Seniors, country western dancers, the popular smokey the bear are a few to mention in the lineups.
