Monmouth U. Center for the Arts receives $136,000 grant
WEST LONG BRANCH — Monmouth University Center for the Arts has been awarded a grant of $136,480 from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts (NJSCA) in support of its mission to provide high-quality arts programming and cultural experiences to the community. The awards were announced at the Council’s recent 58th annual meeting in Trenton, where more than $30 million in grant funding was awarded to support approximately 900 arts organizations, projects and artists throughout the state.
Middlesex College names new executive director of workforce development
Natasha James-Waldon has been named the executive director of workforce development and lifelong learning at Middlesex College. Formerly the director of lifelong learning, James-Waldon will now oversee the creation and administration of the educational institution’s noncredit programs that range from workforce and corporate training to youth camps and personal enrichment programs.
