Fulop names 3 more South Jersey Assembly candidates for his 2025 slate
Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, a Democratic candidate for governor, named three more South Jersey state Assembly for his 2025 slate this morning. Running in the 2nd Legislative District, Linwood Board of Education Trustee Lisa Bonanno, a mother of five, has been a registered nurse for 33 years and for the last 13 years she has been providing care for patients in their homes.

Clark Recreation Camp Wraps Up Summer of 2024
Clark Recreation’s famous summer rec camp began July 1st. The camp runs for 6 weeks – Monday thru Thursday – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. “A record number of children attended the first day – 879 children + 150 counselors!!!! The kids love the camp, as well as the counselors, and so do I – the biggest kid.” – Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo admitted.
Rahway Girl Scouts Honor Our Troops
On May 18th, during a beautiful morning, the Girl Scout troops of Rahway met in the Rahway Cemetery to do their annual Flag planting; a tradition that has been happening for over 20 years. The girls, their leaders, and members of the girls’ families, volunteered to plant flags at the many gravesites of fallen soldiers and those who served in the Armed forces. The soldiers were honored each with their own flag placed at their headstone or footstone. The volunteers were there for 2 hours and planted almost 600 flags on grave for soldiers who fought in wars as early as the Revolutionary War. The girls learned about the soldiers as they walked through the cemetery looking at all the dates in history. They look forward to doing it again next year.
