SUNY Cortland police officer sworn in as investigator
The University Police at SUNY Cortland announced on Tuesday that a swear-in ceremony was held for one of its officers and K-9s, according to a post. Officer Melissa Keelhar, a native of the village of McGraw and a graduate of McGraw High School, was sworn in by President Erik Bitterbaum as the UPD’s next investigator. Keelhar’s partner, K-9 Meekah, was awarded a badge and also sworn in as UPD’s therapy K-9.
