The Arizona Cardinals, before they flew out to Indianapolis, held some player workouts. According to Cards Wire’s Howard Balzer , the Cardinals brought in seven players, a mix of different positions.

They worked out the following players:

    • WR Daylen Baldwin
    • WR Jalen Camp
    • WR Wayne Ruby
    • OL Chuck Filiaga
    • OL Chris Murray
    • RB Hassan Hall
    • RB Anthony McFarland

Baldwin is a 6-foot-2, 212-pound receiver who has bounced around the league since entering as a rookie free agent in 2022, spending time with the Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings. He has two career receptions.

Camp is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound wideout drafted in the sixth round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. He has one career catch and has spent time with the Jags, Houston Texans, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns.

Ruby is an undrafted rookie receiver who is 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds and signed with the Jaguars originally. He was waived with an injury, reverted to injured reserve and then was given an injury settlement.

Filiaga went undrafted in 2023 and has not played in an NFL game. Mostly a guard, he has spent time with the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.

Murray is a center who went undrafted  in 2023 and signed with Tampa Bay originally and was cut in August of last year,

Hall spent a week on Arizona’s practice squad last year. He is 5-foot-10 and 196 pounds and spent the 2023 preseason with Cleveland after entering the league with the Browns as an undrafted rookie free agent. Afer his stint with the Cardinals, he also spent time with the Giants and Chiefs.

McFarland was drafted by the Steelers in the fourth round in 2020 and played 17 games over four seasons. He played this spring for the San Antonio Brahmas.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon spoke of the team’s health as they head to Indianapolis. Perhaps there are injuries of note at running back, receiver and the offensive line.

We will see if there are any subsequent signings.
