A list of Commanders not playing in the preseason finale

The Washington Commanders host the New England Patriots in the preseason finale on Sunday. The team announced that 34 players will not play vs. New England.

On Friday, head coach Dan Quinn informed the media that quarterback Jayden Daniels would not play. With Daniels not playing, that likely meant Washington would rest most — if not all — of its starters.

Does the list of inactive players likely give clues as to which Commanders are safe for the 53-man roster? Probably. Washington and the other 31 NFL teams must trim their roster to 53 players by Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET.
