    By Zach Goodall,

Four Dolphins had their participation statuses upgraded Thursday as Miami prepares to host Jacksonville for Week 1 of the 2024 season, while the Jaguars continue to monitor one player ahead of the matchup.

Find Jacksonville and Miami’s Thursday injury reports below.

    * indicates an upgraded status from the previous day

    Jacksonville Jaguars

    • S Daniel Thomas (Achilles) — limited

Analysis : Thomas remains the only player on Jacksonville’s injury report due to an Achilles issue that began in August. He was observed participating in individual drills during the media viewing window of Jacksonville’s Thursday practice.

Jacksonville has five players on its injured reserve with two, running back Keilan Robinson and safety Andrew Wingard, designated to return this season.

    Miami Dolphins

Players who received veteran rest days without injuries Wednesday and returned to practice Thursday were removed from this list

    • S Jevon Holland (ankle) — full
    • WR Malik Washington (quadricep) — limited
    • LB Anthony Walker (knee/veteran rest) — full*
    • S Jordan Poyer (thumb/veteran rest) — full*
    • DT Benito Jones (knee) — limited
    • C Aaron Brewer (hand) — limited
    • LB Quinton Bell (thumb) — full*
    • CB Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) — did not participate
    • LB Jaelan Phillips (Achilles/veteran rest) — full*

Analysis : Walker, Poyer, Bell and most notably Phillips, who did not practice Wednesday, were promoted to full participation Thursday. Miami anticipates Phillips , a starting edge rusher who tore his Achilles last November, playing on a snap count in Week 1.

The Dolphins’ injury report does not include four players on Miami’s reserve/physically unable to perform list: Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn, edge rusher Bradley Chubb and linebacker Cameron Goode.

This pairs with eight players currently on Miami’s injured reserve.
