    1 dead after a mobile home fire in Vienna, investigation underway

    One person is dead after a mobile home fire in the town of Vienna, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

    On Monday, August 12, at around 11 p.m., a call went out for a structure fire of a trailer on Mulholland Road in Vienna. The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said upon deputies arrival, the fire was fully involved.

    After the fire was extinguished by firefighters on the scene, deputies and first responders located a deceased male inside the residence.

    The victim's name will be released when positive identification has been made, police say.

    An investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing.

    Sheriff’s deputies were assisted on scene by the North Bay, Vienna, Camden, Sylvan Beach, and Cleveland Volunteer Fire Departments as well as State Fire.
