VALLEY CITY, Ohio – Making a nail in a fiery forge is a lot harder than it looks. Dozens of people learned that during a most unusual anniversary celebration in the Liverpool Industrial Park as Welser Profile celebrated the company’s 360th anniversary. And that’s not a typographical error because the company began in a small town in Austria and is still owned by the family. A 12th generation member of the family was in Valley City and among those who welcomed local visitors and employees to try their hand at doing the kind of work the very first Welsers did.
