CLAYTON, Mo. — The man accused of killing a doctor and a woman in St. Louis County as part of a multi-state crime spree in 2021 entered a guilty plea Monday. It was May 15, 2021 when Tyler Terry went on the run with his girlfriend, Adrienne Simpson, after killing 71-year-old Barbara Goodkin and 58-year-old Dr. Sergei Zacharev in St. Louis County.
1 dead in single-car crash in West County
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An 18-year-old is dead after a single-car crash early Saturday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to I-170 and Olive Boulevard at around 2 a.m. Saturday for a single-car crash. A 2009 Honda Accord was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-170 when the driver lost control of the car, causing it to drive off the right side of the road. The Honda then went through a guardrail, into a wall, overturned onto Olive Boulevard and caught on fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Florissant, Mo., man was sentenced in federal court for providing more than 34 kilograms of fentanyl to a large-scale drug trafficking organization in southwest Missouri. Sheron L. Loggins, also known as “Bane,” 50, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Roseann A. Ketchmark to 14 years in federal prison without parole.
Man found shot dead in fast food lot in north St. Louis
ST. LOUIS – A fast food restaurant parking lot turns into a crime scene overnight in north St. Louis after a man is found shot and killed inside a car Wednesday morning. This all happened on the 2000 block of Hebert in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood, just off North Florissant Avenue.

A person struck by a train on Friday, July 5, is in the hospital recovering from serious injuries, according to the Kirkwood Police Department. At approximately 10 p.m. on July 5, Kirkwood emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Big Bend and Geyer for a report of someone struck by a westbound train. The point of impact was roughly 100 feet west of the intersection.

ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) -- A 26-year-old man was charged with murder almost a year after a beating outside a St. Louis market. Lorezno Thomas, 63, was beaten and lost consciousness on July 19, 2023, after a fight outside a market at Euclid and Hammett. He was placed on life support and never regained consciousness. He died from his injuries in February.
