Ward 1 Alderman Mayfield recognizes a group of hard-working teens
Ward 1 Alderman TJ Mayfield recognized a group of Vicksburg teenagers on Monday. Fabian Moore, Corderrion Valentine, Devin Banks, and Felton Moore were all called to Mayfield’s office where he presented them with a certificate of appreciation for their hard work. The mother of Valentine, Shakayla Dixon, was also recognized for her role in the teen’s achievement.

USACE Vicksburg District Announces Special Archery Deer Hunt at Arkabutla Lake
VICKSBURG, Miss. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District announces a special archery deer hunt at Arkabutla Lake on October 18-20 and 25-27, 2024. The event will feature two three-day hunts. Applicants must have a valid Mississippi hunting license. Applications are available at the Arkabutla Lake Field Office and online here.
