Victoria braces for Hurricane Beryl: closures and delays announced for institutions

VICTORIA, Texas - As the crossroad prepares for Hurricane Beryl, organizations have issued delays or closures for the upcoming days.

Here are the latest closure notices:

University of Houston - Victoria will be closed on July 8.
Victoria County Jail will not have inmate visitation on July 7 and 8.
Victoria Independent School District will close all offices, facilities, summer schools, and camps in the district on July 8.
Victoria College will be closed on July 8.
Tuesday night’s Country Opry at VFW Post cancelled
